Descripción:En este libro se publica por primera vez el único curso que impartío en México el Premio Nobel de Física 1965, Richard P. Feyman. Organizado en 1972 por la Sección de Graduados de la Escuela Superior de Física y Matemáticas del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, el curso denominado Física de Altas Energías, desarrola temas como la física experimental, tipos de interacciones, particularmente hidrónicas, así como modelo de partones y estructuras de protones. El revuelo que causó las visita de Feyman entre la comunidad científica mexicana en la década de los setentas, al paso del tiempo se ve justificado al revisar en este trabajo la aún hoy novedosas ideas de quien ha sido uno de los actores principales de la física. Feyman contribuyó en los cuarenta a la Teoría general de la interacción débil; asimismo, en 1968, cuando aún eres hipotética la exitencia de los quarks poruqe nunca se había observado experientalmente, Feyman propuso su modelo de partones para entender eñ mecanismo de las interacciones entre hadrones en situaciones de alta energía.
